Looking Back at Vegas Legend Robert Goulet

The multi-talented Robert Goulet was a part of the Vegas scene for a long time. He was more than just another Vegas entertainer – Goulet was part of Vegas history and character. Canadian born Goulet had an exceptional entertainment career that included 60 top-selling albums and 15 movie credits. His television appearances number over 40, including a variety series of his own. He also dazzled them on Broadway with his rich baritone voice.
The Grammy winner had been performing in Vegas for as long as anyone can remember. Seeing Robert Goulet in concert was a look back to the days of old Vegas. He was one of few entertainers from that era still doing it on the Strip.
He was also active in Las Vegas’ cultural development. He worked at getting a Vegas Performing Arts Center in the city, and was pleased to see big-name Strip hotels are finally booking Broadway plays.
