What Does Luck Have To Do With It?
By Sonny White | February 26, 2010
In this world the ebb and flow of positive and negative fluctuation is luck. The positive spectrum is good luck and the negative end is bad luck.
When it comes to the casino luck will be a big factor determining whether you win or loose in the short term. If you play games like roulette or slots with a high house edge luck will be the only way to win. In the long run you will loose at these games.
For games of skill like poker or blackjack your “luck” factor will eventually even out. Luck determines the cards you are dealt. Knowledge and skill determines how you will play them. A lucky person finds a way to use his or her abilities to come out ahead. Just believing in luck is not enough to improve your chances. This is true in casino games and is also a factor in the game of life.
I’m sure we all know someone who is extremely lucky. These lucky people usually seem to always be outgoing, happy and upbeat. They know how to make the best of any situation. On the flip side of this think of someone you know who always seems to have bad luck. They probably gripe and complain all the time. The “lucky” person is usually the one with the positive attitude. It’s just possible that your attitude can change your luck.
