Living in Las Vegas: Is it Overrated?

Living in Sin City is not all it’s cracked up to be. The cost of living is ridiculous because the entire town has everything priced for the tourists. Real estate is in high demand and doesn’t come cheap. The location sort of confines you to the city, as you’re surrounded by nothing but desert.
For a good part of the year the temperature is just too high. From May to October the temperatures soar into the 40’s on a regular basis. That might be ok for some of you sun-lovers out there, but it’s too hot for this guy.
Vegas is a great place to visit. But the one theme that follows you wherever you go in this town is that someone is trying to get into your pocket. Everywhere you go the locals are trying to make as much money as possible, and in every way you can imagine.
