High rollers in Atlantic City will now be able to play with a new $25,000 chip after the New Jersey Casino Control Commission approved the new “top-value” denomination. Casino commission spokesperson Dan Heneghan said the advent of the new gold colored chip would mean the $20,000 yellow chip will undergo a slight alteration to minimize the chances of confusion.

Atlantic City casinos offer chips in the following denominations: $1; $2.50; $5; $10; $20; $25; $100; $500; $1,000; $5,000; $20,000 and $25,000.
