Tips for the Casino Gambling Rookies
By Sonny White | February 25, 2010
The first time that you walk into a casino is a fun one. After all, you will be confronted with bright lights, lots of people, and of course, plenty of casino games. If you want your first time to be successful, you’ll need to make sure you do not get overwhelmed.
You want to do whatever you can to make your first casino gambling experience one to remember, and not for all the wrong reasons. Here are a few tips for the rookie casino gambler:
*First you need to get the lay of the land before you begin to bet any money. Do a lap around the place and get a feel what it’s all about. If you’ve never been to a casino before it’s hard to know what really to expect and once you look around you’ll get a better idea of everything.
*Do not take an unlimited amount of money with you. You don’t want to end up spending more money that you originally plan on. A good idea is to only take cash that way you won’t spend money you can’t afford to loose. It’s hard enough for a seasoned player to win let alone a newcomer so if you do win, let it be a pleasant surprise.
*Try to spend your money across a few different games. You don’t want to blow it all away on the first table you go to. Actually, even if you do there’s nothing wrong with that. Seeing as it would be your first time you might want to try out other fun tables as well to get a feel for what you really like and what you seem to be naturally good at.
*Decide who you’re going with. For your first time you might want to bring someone who has experience in a casino. That way if you have any questions someone is there answer them, not to mention they might give teach you a thing or two along the way. On the other hand it might be fun to bring a newbie like yourself and you can both figure things out together.
*Get a game plan. What if you do win big? What are you going to do with all that money? Are you just going to throw it back into the pot and hope to win more or walk away once you hit big? Remember money can sometimes make you do funny things and sometimes these things are not what you would normally do.
