    Winning Tri-Card Poker Techniques

    By Sonny White | August 27, 2010

    Caribbean Tri-Card Poker

Tri-Card Poker doesn’t involve a lot strategy. Beyond the basic rule that you raise any hand that is bigger than Q-6-4, there isn’t much more you can do to improve your odds at this game.

All one can do is play the pair plus and raise any hand that’s as big – or bigger – than the previously mentioned Q-6-4. The good thing about this game is that all big hands are still paid out, even if the dealer fails to qualify, unlike Caribbean Poker.

You can also make sure that you are at a good pay table. The payout for certain hands will change depending on where you play. A good indicator is to find out what the table pays out for a flush. Good tables pay 4 to 1 on a flush, weaker tables will pay 3 to 1. Payouts may vary; it’s worth it to find out the odds.
